Early December 2012 - What an amazing time so far!

It has been a crazy first week of December and I just wanted to show the time I have had!
I flew to L.A. California for the first time. I had never been west of Chicago so this was a big trip for me!

My close friend Sam who I have known since we were 11 was getting married, finally!!!! And to a wonderful lady named Brittain! And he was having the ceremony on a boat in the harbor in
Marina Del Rey!

I left Buffalo at 5:55 p.m. EST Thursday evening and arrived in L.A. (after a stop at Midway in Chicago) at around 1:00 a.m. EST. We got to my Hotel, checked in and hit some bars.

Karaoke at the first bar right in downtown Santa Monica.

Brennan's in L.A. is not like Brennan's in Amherst but it was still a good time!

The next morning Sam and I spent time preparing the Program to be handed out at the Ceremony. We were at Kinko's for a bit and then we got our Tuxes. And we toured around a little and then had to be at the Rehearsal at 3:00 pm so we got back to our hotel and headed over to the Fantasea Yacht Club.

Here is a picture of us at the Rehearsal in the lower deck of the ship that would host the cocktail part of the party.

Here is the upper deck where the ceremony took place! We were standing in our positions for the ceremony!

Here is the brides Father, who was a great guy!

My view from where I was standing out in the Marina Del Rey Harbor.

And Sam's Dad and Mom along with the Bride's Mother.

The Happy couple at the Rehearsal dinner.

My Salmon Dinner, it was so good!!!

I left the Dinner and crashed for the night as I was tired from the jet lag. I got up early around 7:00am so I could get out and Geocache. It had been raining for a few days, something that doesn't happen too often in Southern California. Saturday morning was mostly cloudy with a break in the clouds allowing a few peeks of the sun. I walked all over the Marina and found 4 Cache's out of 7. And left my rare Superhero Captain America in the one large cache I found.

This is right outside my hotel, the Jamaica Bay Inn.

I walked down the main street connected to the Venice Pier. This guy sells Surfing lessons.

The view from the pier.

Waiting for the right wave!

A bigger group of Surfers.

The end of the pier looking back.

Up and down the coast.

Looking back on the other side.

Some video of the sights and sounds of the pier and beach.

The parking area and other spots close to the pier.

Wind blown, tired and happy. I made it to LA and am doing things I love to do!

I met Victor a real CHP Officer!  I told him I was Buffalo and that he said sorry about all the rain, and then repeated I am from Buffalo NY, and then he smiled and he said "OH! Well then this must be paradise and we both laughed!" We both laughed!

I asked "Can I take a picture of you for my boys?" He said, "Sure hang on!" and put what he was reading away and then counted down from 3 - "3, 2, 1, GO!" and smiled and did the the hang loose sign, how cool!

The sun was starting to shine brighter as the morning progressed.

I got back to my hotel, had breakfast with the families on both sides and then went to crash for a little while, but before I could even lay my head down, Sam was knocking as he had been kicked out of his room so the Bride could get ready! So Sam got ready first and then me second. Here we are all dressed up!

Outside of the Hotel as Brittain and her Maid of Honor were looking beautiful!

SNOOP DOG! Got married at the same place!!

The boat is ready for the ceremony!!

So is the best man Steve!!

The Bride and Groom for the first time! :) The video rocks!! Here are some random shots below as well.

The Bride and Groom with their first dance, toasting the crowd and cutting the cake!

The after party was crazy and I believe there are other shots but they will be like the end of the Hangover Movies, looked at one time, and then deleted to the cosmos! HAHA! It was a great, great event and I had the time of my life!

My buds from the day! I was so much fun!

Quick update! I had another Apple Store Seminar and it was once again well attended!
